Somedo - The Scoreboard for Good Deeds

One is not born into the world to do everything but to do something.    -  Henry David Thoreau

How does it work?

Initially, points are earned for such things as volunteering, or donating blood. A point equates to an approximately one hour of volunteering. After a Some Do Member earns a certain number of points, they can begin awarding points. Points can be awarded for specific deeds that you are aware of, or perhaps a good deed you learn about in the news.

Just some of the organizations that can benefit

  • Hospitals
  • Youth Sports Leagues, points for coaches and other volunteers
  • Blood donation
  • Religious Organizations
  • Scouting Groups
  • What are we missing?

Once an individual reaches ten points, they can choose individuals they feel deserve to receive a point. An individual can assign up to 10 percent of the points they have. Giving points does not reduce the points that you have.
